About  

Komet's 8392A, also known as the  shorter diamond version of the "mosquito" bur, is a needle-shaped, fine-grit  (red) diamond bur.
The 8392A can be used for quick, yet precise interproximal trimming and contouring.

Using the 8392A gives you .5 mm of reduction when completing interproximal reduction (IPR).

It is also available as a single-use diamond bur,  8392SU 5.0 mm length
There is also the regular diamond bur with a length 5.0 mm, 8392.
