The 878KXC is an extra-coarse, Modified tapered chamfer diamond used for fast, effective substance removal during crown preparation.

This diamond bur shape is also available in the following:

878K - Medium grit
8878K - Fine grit (red)

After using the 878KXC for primary preparations, finish with the identically shaped finishing bur, 8878K diamond or H283K carbide finisher.
